This is achieved through a holistic approach for income diversification, increased resilience to disasters, strengthened governance systems and development of adapted infrastructure for access to essential services such health, clean water, sanitation

Strengthening livelihoods
The approach of Caritas for strengthened and diversified livelihoods is rooted in community empowerment and adopts a holistic approach. By raising capacities of producers, supporting local governance and setting-up farmers organizations, the project will participate in long-term community development

The project aims at reducing malnutrition and stunting rates in 3 target provinces by promoting civil society participation to improve the implementation of the Lao National Nutrition Strategy
